ABSTRACT
There are various indications to give intravenous albumin for patients with cirrhosis of the liver, such as improving the general conditions, overcome ascites or hepatorenal syndrome cure. Of the many reasons for giving albumin were four indications that are supported by adequate clinical trial data, namely: Spontaneous bacterial peritonitis, Hepatorenal syndrome type 1, as a developer of plasma volume after major parasentesis, increasing diuretic therapy response.
